That Good Good Shea Branding
Logo design, Branding, Package design,
The Brief:
That Good Good Shea was a newly created black owned shea butter brand looking for branding from initial logo design to packaging and branded imagery. TGGS wanted their brand to speak to both men and women as shea butter is typically seen as more feminine. After initial brand strategies were presented the client chose a "rebel archetype"
My Role:
For TGGS I was responsible for creating the logo, hero imagery, the packaging colour scheme, and rolling out the entire package line which included 2oz, 6oz, 8oz and shea oil
The How:
After initial concepts to determine brand archetype were sent the rebel archetype was chosen.I was responsible for creating logo options including the chosen logo which was one that I had created by hand using an ink brush pen and scanning into adobe illustrator.
For the t-shirt design TGGS wanted a design that would not only be worn by employees but that could be bought by customers. The concept of making the shirt in the style of an 80's hip hop poster was chosen.
